The SSNIT GREDA Keepfit club became monarchs of all they surveyed last Sunday when they emerged as the maiden champions in a special volleyball tourney organised by the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr Benard Okoe Boye.
The GREDA team proved too strong for three other teams that participated in the tournament, defeating every opponent en route to winning the tournament.
Participating in the tournament apart from the GREDA Keepfit Club were the Teshie Military Academy Training School, Teshie First Floor and Teshie Salem.
The Teshie GREDA Estate Keepfit Club which uses the Teshie SAPS Preparatory School as its fit-keeping grounds lived up to the popular host-and-win mantra when they took on Teshie MATS in the final game and defeated them in two straight sets.
For winning the tournament, the GREDA Estate Keepfit Club was presented with two volleyballs, a set of branded training bibs, a volleyball net and an undisclosed amount of money.
All other teams also went home with a volleyball each, sets of branded training bibs, volleyball nets and undisclosed amounts of money.
