The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Andy Appiah Kubi, has debunked allegations that government is shifting its attention from the on-going Menzgold saga.
The MP who doubles as the Deputy Railway Minister stated this when responding to assertions by the Minority Spokesperson on the Finance Commitee, Cassiel Atto Forson, earlier in the week that the NPP government for failing to come to the rescue of the aggrieved customers of the embattled gold dealership firm, Menzgold, but the revered legislator thinks the pronouncements of the minority are flawed and a cheap means of gaining popularity.
Speaking to Adom News, Appiah Kubi stated the government warned these customers of Menzgold to stop investing with the gold dealership firm but all those calls fell on deaf ears.
