The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations has launched an audit of frequency authorizations issued or renewed in the past 60 days.
Acting on instructions from the Minister, Sam George, the Acting Director-General of the National Communications Authority is to furnish a detailed list for review.
This initiative is part of the government’s Operation Recover All Loot agenda, aimed at reclaiming state resources unlawfully transferred to private interests.
The Minister emphasized that any authorizations granted outside legal and procedural frameworks must be addressed to protect state assets.
The public will be updated on further developments upon completion of the review.
