Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani GoldStars, Akwasi Adu, has expressed confidence in the club’s readiness to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.

The Miners solidified their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League table with a gritty 1-0 victory over defending champions Medeama SC on Matchday 28 of the ongoing 2024/25 season. The win takes GoldStars to 53 points with just six games remaining.

Speaking to Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Adu stated that the club is both prepared and adequately resourced to make its mark on the continental stage.

“We are well prepared and well resourced to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.”

He emphasised the team’s determination to finish the season strongly while keeping their eyes set on African football.

“We will fight till the end of the season to ensure we finish on high because the season is not over yet, but our focus is to play in Africa, and we are ready for that,” he added.

Looking ahead, GoldStars will travel to face Vision FC on Matchday 29, followed by a clash with Karela United. They are set to receive a walkover against Nsoatreman FC before hosting giants Asante Kotoko.

In their final two matches, the Miners will visit Berekum Chelsea and conclude their season at home against Accra Lions.
