President of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Papa Kwasi Nduom, has taken another giant step by launching GN Health Ambulance Service to give total healthcare to its employees.
Addressing managers and staff members at the launch in Accra yesterday, Board Chairman of GN Health, Mr. Issah Adam, said the introduction of the ambulance service is to provide an improved welfare services to employees of the Groupe.
“Today marks yet another milestone in the annals of Groupe Nduom. In addition to providing free medical services, we are adding the ambulance services to complete the bouquet of medical services for the benefit of employees of the Groupe in Greater Accra and Central Regions,” he explained.
Mr. Adam further explained that the ambulance service will provide a 24-hour pre-hospital care service for employees of Groupe Nduom in Accra and Elmina.
According to the board chairman of GN Health, the two ambulances are a pilot project for now, but have the intention of increasing the fleet in the near future, and also extend its services for the benefit of the general public.
He disclosed that the two ambulances are well equipped with modern equipment and consumables needed for every emergency situations, and pre-hospital care to patients.
“Please take note that these are not just ambulances to provide transport services that cannot provide proper pre-hospital care,” the board chair of GN Health added.
Mr. Adam however, promised that GN Health will ensure there will be well-trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and drivers who are well trained and know exactly what to do during emergencies.
