Gifty Anti named among Africa’s phenomenal 50 women

Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and media personality, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, has been named among Africa’s Phenomenal 50 women, a prestigious recognition celebrating outstanding African women making an impact in their fields.

The list, compiled by ICS Africa, highlights women excelling in various sectors, including business, governance, media, education, and advocacy.

Gifty Anti was recognized in the Media and Communication category alongside other influential African media figures such as Ghana’s Anita Erskine, Nigeria’s Mo Abudu, Farida Karoney, and Edith Kimani.

According to ICS Africa, the Phenomenal 50 honors women who have demonstrated excellence in their professions, contributed significantly to their communities, and inspired positive change across the continent.

The initiative is set to be an annual recognition released in commemoration of International Women’s Day on March 8.

Gifty Anti, known for her advocacy on women’s empowerment and her remarkable contributions to Ghana’s media landscape, expressed gratitude for the recognition.
