GHPL wrap up: Medeama increases Hearts of Oak’s woes; WAFA maintain perfect start

-

Medeama SC have increased the woes of Hearts of Oak after beating them 3:0 in Tarkwa on Sunday.

The Phobians are now without a win and no point after two matches played in the Ghana Premier League.

Their opening day defeat against Berekum Chelsea led to the sacking of head coach Kim Grant.

They travelled to Tarkwa with interim manager Edward Nii Odoom. He failed to get best out of the players as Medeama cruised to a famous victory.

However, West African Football Academy also maintained their perfect start of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

The Academy Boys whipped struggling Ebusua Dwarfs by 2:0.

Elsewhere, AshantiGold beat King Faisal 1-0 to win the Ashanti derby.
