Ghosts, gods killing Fulanis in Kwahu – Chief reveals

In his bid to evict nomadic herdsmen from his land, a chief in Kwahu in the Eastern region is ready to sacrifice his life for the life.
Nana Danso Agyei stressed they have activated the spirits of all the dreaded deities on the land to deal ruthlessly with the Fulani herdsmen wrecking havoc on their people.
The chief of Kwahu Gyerebease, one of the towns affected by the Fulani menace revealed this on Adom FM’s morning show Tuesday.
He indicated that, most of the people killed in the recent conflict between Fulani herdsmen and the Kwahu Community were from his town.
The Chief said several interventions made by government over the period whether under military or democratic regimes to curb the Fulani menace has not yielded any positive results thus their decision to hand over the fight to their gods.
“Since I poured libation and called on the ghosts of our ancestors to deal with the issue, it has yielded results. Some people who went to the bush saw dead bodies and dead cattle. I’m very happy” he stated.
Nana Danso Agyei noted that, if the gods demand a human head as the ultimate sacrifice, “I will gladly offer my head to safeguard the lands for the future” he stressed.
He therefore urged indigenes not to go to their farms until the gods rid off the Fulani herdsmen in the area.
