Ghanaians admonished against treatment of bone-related diseases with herbs

Ghanaians have been cautioned against the treatment of bone-related diseases with herbs and other traditional means.

According to the acting medical director of St. Francis Hospital in Assin Fosu, Dr Bernard Brewu, there have been several instances where people have visited the hospital with rotten legs due to over-reliance on traditional treatment.

He spoke to Adom News at a programme organised by the Assin Fosu Municipal Assembly to handover an Anesthesthetic Machine to support the operation of the health facility.

He explained that the machine has come at the time when many patients, especially accident victims are being referred to other hospitals due to lack of Anesthesthetic machines in the facility.
