Ghana will see a reset under Mahama – Malik Basintale

-

Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale says Ghana will undergo a reset under the leadership of their flagbearer, John Mahama, if he is elected in the upcoming general election.

According to him, an NDC administration led by Mahama will work to restore the economic and social gains that have been lost under the current government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“President Mahama has identified the problems. He says there is hardship, he says there is unemployment, he says there’s high cost of living. He says our dollar is weak. He says petrol prices are high,” Mr Basintale said while outlining the issues that Mr Mahama aims to address.

He said this ahead of the NDC’s manifesto launch at Winneba in the Central Region on Saturday.

He further noted that Mahama has been actively engaging with various stakeholders, including the Trade Union Congress (TUC), the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), and victims of collapsed banks, to develop practical solutions to the nation’s challenges.

Mr Basintale expressed confidence that, the solutions Mahama and the NDC have crafted will rectify the country’s current economic difficulties by 2025, bringing much-needed relief to Ghanaians.
