Ghana slipping back to 1985 – Allotey Jacobs cries

The Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs is alarmed at the current rate of government borrowing.

He is warning is retrogressing to 1985 which was a painful period of near economic collapse in Ghana’s history.

The NDC man made the comment on Adom TV’s morning show, Bedwam while commenting on economic issues of the country.

He indicated that, the Akufo-Addo led government has worsened the socio-economic conditions of Ghanaians due to the imposition of killer taxes.

The NDC Central region Chairman said it is obvious the Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) has no solutions to Ghana’s problems.

The only way to stop Ghana from going into an abyss, Allotey Jacobs said is for Ghanaians to vote back the NDC in the 2020 elections.
