Accra Hearts of Oak’s quest for a bright start to Premier League life at their adopted Cape Coast Stadium home became a mirage after visiting Ashantigold throbbed them 3:1 in week two of the Ghana Premier League.
Ashantigold stunned the Phobians with an early lead when James Akaminko opened the scoring in the 10th minute to unsettle them and dominated the entire duration.
Two second half goals from Amos Addai and Shafiu Mumuni further confused the home side until new signee Joseph Esso got the consolation for Hearts of Oak.

Elsewhere at Wa Stadium, Wa All Stars were held 0:0 by travelling Ebusua Dwarfs.
West Africa Football Academy were the better side at the Karl Reindolf park when they beat Liberty Professionals 3-1.
Dreams FC also managed to pick a point at the Berekum Golden City Park as Medeama SC were hammered 2-0 by Bechem United in Bechem.
Asante Kotoko, through Obed Owusu, registered their first home win against Inter Allies.
Defending league champions, Aduana Stars picked a point off Elmina sharks at the Nduom stadium in their first league game following a goalless draw game.
