Ahead of President Akufo-Addo’s maiden State of the Nations Address, Deputy Minority leader, James Klutse Avedzi says the president must tell Ghanaians the exact number of cars handed over by former President John Mahama’s administration.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to deliver his first State of the Nation address Tuesday, February 21 on the floor of parliament.
The address is pursuant to and as required by article 67 of the 1992 constitution of Ghana.
Speaking with Adom News, James Avedzi said the president must also tell Ghanaians the number of chief executives he has sacked since he assumes office and forceful takeovers.
Meanwhile, a member of the Finance Committee of Parliament, Benjamin Komla Kpodo says the president must tell Ghanaians how he intends to carry out his flagship manifesto promise the 1 district, 1 factory project.
Benjamin Komla Kpodo who also doubles as MP for Ho Central said the president must also outline his source of funding for the $1 million dollars for the 275 constituencies in the country.
But MP for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwaa says the president will address all issues of nation interest.
