The installation ceremony was performed by the Nkwatia Benkumhene, Nana Baah Oware Santrowade II last  Tuesday, 14th February, 2017 at his Palace.

According to the Benkumhene, he and his elders were inspired by Mr Awuku’s courageous demeanor – a strong voice for the voiceless – before, during and after the elections.

The chief added that the national youth organizer’s messages and activities gave hope to the hopeless and he admired Mr. Awuku for putting his precious life on the line for the sake of Ghanaians.   The youthful exuberance the youth organizer demonstrated got Ghanaians especially the youth to appreciate that ensuring the right things done was a shared responsibility and not the job of politicians alone.
