Black Stars Coach Avram Grant wants Kwesi Nyantakyi to be maintained as the President of the Ghana Football Association.
There have been several calls for Nyantakyi to vacate the seat as the President of the Nations Football governing body.
The Football administrator and CAF executive committee member is the longest serving FA President having stayed in office for the past 12 years.
Ghana’s recent failure to win the Cup of Nations in Gabon has raised calls for him to leave his post.
Grant wants Ghanaians to maintain the WA All Stars owner (Kwesi Nyantakyi) as the President of the Football Federation in the country.
“Kwesi Nyantakyi is a great guy and need support from government, I will like Ghanaians to maintain him as the Football Association President,” he said on Starr FM.
“He has done a lot for the country and I believe with support from the Nation he will really do more for country.
“He is a hard working guy and wants to do his best for his country so it will be good if he stays at the position.”
Grant leaves his duties as head Coach of the Black Stars at the end of the month after serving his two-year contract with the Ghana Football Association.
