Ghana News – It is not by force to be monogamous – Okyeame Kwame

-

Ghanaian Hip-life artiste, Okyeame Kwame, popularly known as the ‘rap dacta’ has said it is not mandatory to be committed to one woman hence monogamy is a choice but not compulsory as most men perceive it.

According to the veteran musician, knowledgeable men should be able to introduce their girlfriends to each other than avoiding the attitude of dating more than ‘five girls’ without introducing them to each other.

He further likened it to the olden days where men made women aware of the reasons why they had to add another woman to the family for valid purposes which create a harmonious atmosphere hence men of today should learn and assimilate it to better their relationships.

“Even though it is not by force to be monogamous, if you have two women let them be aware. Just like the olden days. But men of today now you have more than five girls and they do not know each other…” he stated in interview on Adom FM’s ‘Work and Happiness’ show hosted by Ohemaa Woyeje.

“Men are supposed to let their girls be aware that they have someone else they are courting to make the girls aware of the open courtship. It’s only the loose guys who can’t do this…,” he said.

He however noted that, there exists no ‘ugly’ Ghanaian woman as such men should take their time to note out the advantages of their girls and they would easily bring out the beauty inside of the women; every woman and what makes her pretty.

“I have never seen an ugly Ghana woman. Even If she has nothing, she has something that when you take your time to court her, you will discover how true and lovely she is…” he said.
