Ghana News – I am disappointed in Michael Osei – Jerome Otchere

-

Editor of Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has revealed that the management of the club is disappointed in former interim coach, Michael Osei.

The former New Edubiase coach has been re-assigned to the youth side. It has been widely reported that Zdravko Lugarusic who is now the head coach of the club says he can’t work with the former Kotoko player.

Michael Osei took the mantle as the interim coach of the club when David Duncan was shown the exit by the Opoku Nti administration.

“Personally I like Michael Osei but when it comes to professionalism, friendship is nothing to me,” Jerome told Asempa FM.

“It was wrong for him to go on radio to say the team has sacked him when he had not even read what was in the letter that was addressed to him.

“If he thinks he doesn’t like his new position, the right thing was to reject it after he read the letter but to go on radio that does not show respect.

“Dr. Kyei’s mandate is to change the face of the club so there will be more changes even before the season starts. His action does not speak well of him and we as a club are disappointed in him and I must say that his new appointment as the technical director of the youth team is not a demotion,” he added.
