Dare 2 Dream Ghana (D2DGh), a non-governmental organization which provides leadership skills to the young ones to enable them cultivate their passion and talents through arts education into a productive career, would he holding its maiden arts talent show dubbed ‘Arts 2 Inspire’ at the Apenteng Hall in Koforidua, on the 25th February at 3pm.
According to the organizers of this historic show, one of the main reasons of holding this event is to enable the young ones learn new skills through arts education, and to be creative, innovative and most importantly, strive for excellence as the future belongs to young people with an education and the imagination to create.
In an interview, Akosua Afriyie Osei-Appaw who is the founding director of Dare 2 Dream Ghana (D2DGh) said: “The youth of this generation deserve to be in touch with their creative side whilst learning and that’s one of the most important reasons we are eager to engage them develop their intellect through arts education. It’s an arts show to highlight talent through spoken word, live painting, saxophone music, theatrical arts, choral music and others art development related disciplines.”
Akosua Afriyie also highlighted that, proceeds from the show will be used to support Dare 2 Dream Ghana’s educational activities towards the engagement of more children into arts education, as a broad education in the arts helps give children a better understanding of their world.Â
