Ghana News – Audio: Stop trooping to Flagstaff House – KB Asante

-

Former Secretary to Ghana’s first President Kwame Nkrumah, Dr. KB Asante has called on members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to limit their visits to the Flagstaff House

according to him, though they worked tirelessly to get Nana Akufo-Addo elected president, he needs time and space to executive his vision for Ghana.

KB Asante made the appeal on Asempa FM’s Ekosi Sen Friday while after it emerged some NPP members have made the seat of government their second home.

He indicated that “In Kwame Nkrumah’s era, in his office, there were only three of us and people did not come there just like that, by heart, and, so, he had time to work, he was there by 7:30 am and he worked until about 1:30 pm or 2 pm then he went home.

KB Asante added that “Right now the President of Ghana has, even more, work, there are more problems so he should have the freedom to work in peace in the Flagstaff House without being disturbed by people”.
