Joy FM has selected experts in tourism, arts, and culture for the March 15, 2025, edition of Showbiz A-Z, as part of the annual Ghana Month celebration.
Themed “The Journey of the Ga People: Their Role in Shaping Tourism and the Creative Economy,” the show will be broadcast live from the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra.
Hosted by Kwame Dadzie, the panel will feature poet and Ga Cultural Activist Nii Kwardey Ntreh, Tourism Consultant Francis Doku, tour guide Emmanuel Nii Ayi Solomon, and Adansi Travels CEO Gideon Asare.
The programme, airing from 2pm to 6pm, will showcase Ga culture through music, dance, and libation, with a special performance by the Bloku African Dance Theatre.
Discussions will highlight Ga customs such as funeral rites, naming ceremonies, chieftaincy, and marriage traditions, as well as key heritage sites in Accra.
For the past four years, Showbiz A-Z has celebrated Ghana’s diverse cultures. Previous editions have been held in Cape Coast, Kumasi, and at Mount Afadja, spotlighting the rich traditions of various ethnic groups.
Showbiz A-Z airs on Joy 99.7FM every Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. It is hosted by arts and culture journalist Kwame Dadzie and produced by Philip Nai and Anita Teye.
