Ghana midfielder Joseph Attamah Larweh abrogates loan deal with Rizespor

Ghana defender, Joseph Attamah Larweh has terminated his loan deal contract with Turkish Super Lig side, Çaykur Rizespor, according to reports.

The 25-year old joined Rizespor from İstanbul Başakşehir ahead of the 2019/20 season after failing to impress.

However, the promising left-back terminated his loan deal due to personal reasons.

Following his return to his parent club, İstanbul Başakşehir, head coach of the side, Okan Buruk has informed the Ghanaian he is not part of his plan indicating that he will play for his mother club.

He must strike a deal with Turkish lower side before he can play for his parent club next season.

However, Turkish lower division sides are in race to sign Ghana defender according to reports in the Turkish media.

The Turkish Super Lig rules say a player cannot join his parent club in the middle of the season until the end of the season.

His parent club, İstanbul Başakşehir has communicated to the midfielder that his services will not be required until the end of the season.

Footballghana.com understands that Larweh and his representatives have held meetings with Lower Division side will be hoping to secure a deal before the winter transfer window ends on Friday.

Attamah Larweh joined İstanbul Başakşehir from Adana Demirspor in 2016.

He was part of the Ghana squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt but did not feature in any of the games.
