The Back Stars of Ghana has maintained their position in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola rankings for July.
The four-time African champions remain 64th globally and hold the 12th spot on the continent.
Following victories over Mali and the Central African Republic in June’s World Cup qualifiers, the Black Stars saw a temporary rise in their ranking before settling back to their previous position weeks later.
Unlike European and South American teams active in the European Championship and Copa America respectively, Ghana did not participate in competitive matches in July.
Argentina retains the top spot globally after their Copa America triumph, with Spain climbing to third place following their success in the Euros.
In Africa, Morocco leads the pack, followed by Senegal, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, and Nigeria in the top five.
Ghana’s next action will be in September when they begin their qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars will play Angola in Kumasi before travelling to Niger for their second Group F match.
