Ghana Link Network Services Limited, a leading trade facilitation company, made a strong showing at the 4th National Governance & Business Leadership Awards, with key executives receiving individual honours alongside the company’s recognition as Transformational Business of the Year.

Clyde Panyin Adjei Danso, Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Link, was named Exemplary Business Leader of the Year for the second consecutive time.

Mr. Danso’s dynamic leadership style and proven track record in driving business growth and efficiency were key factors in this recognition. His role in overseeing operations within the group and fostering sustainable relationships with stakeholders has been instrumental in the company’s success, particularly in the implementation of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS) at Ghana’s ports.

“This award is a testament to our team’s dedication and hard work,” said Mr. Danso. “Our focus remains on innovating and improving trade facilitation in Ghana, contributing to the nation’s economic growth.”

Mr. Grifford Kwarko Mensah, Director of Finance and Administration at Ghana Link, was honoured as the Exemplary Finance Leadership Personality of the Year.

This prestigious award recognizes Mr. Mensah’s outstanding contributions to financial management and administrative leadership within the organization. His strategic approach to financial planning, coupled with his innovative administrative practices, has been crucial in supporting Ghana Link’s growth and operational efficiency.

Mr. Mensah’s expertise has been particularly valuable in managing the financial aspects of the company’s large-scale projects, including the implementation of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS). His prudent financial stewardship has ensured the company’s ability to invest in cutting-edge technologies while maintaining a strong financial position.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Mr. Mensah. “At Ghana Link, we believe that sound financial management is the backbone of any successful enterprise. Our team’s commitment to financial transparency, operational efficiency, and strategic resource allocation has been key to our ability to deliver transformative solutions for Ghana’s trade facilitation. This award is a testament to the collective efforts of our entire finance and administration team, and it motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of excellence in our field.”

Under Mr. Mensah’s leadership, the finance and administration department has implemented several best practices in corporate governance, risk management, and financial reporting. These efforts have not only strengthened the company’s internal controls but have also enhanced its credibility with stakeholders, including government agencies and international partners.

At the same event, the company’s Executive Chairman, Dr. Nick Danso Adjei, also received the Exemplary Entrepreneur of the Year Award, further underlining the strength of Ghana Link’s leadership team.

These individual accolades, combined with the company’s recognition as Transformational Business of the Year, highlight Ghana Link Network Services Limited’s significant impact on Ghana’s trade and customs landscape. The successful implementation of ICUMS has led to increased revenue collection by the Ghana Revenue Authority and improved efficiency in goods clearance processes at the ports of Tema and Takoradi.

The National Governance & Business Leadership Awards, organized by The Governance & Business Boardroom, celebrate excellence in corporate governance, leadership, and economic empowerment in Ghana.

This year’s theme, “The Promise of Leadership: Transformation, Impact, Growth & Prosperity,” perfectly aligns with Ghana Link’s achievements and ongoing commitment to national development.
