The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reiterated its commitment to resetting Ghana if voted into power in the 2024 election, emphasizing that the nation is at a crossroads.

At a press conference on Tuesday, the NDC National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, criticized the Akufo-Addo administration for its handling of economic challenges.

The NDC insisted that the current administration’s economic policies have led to severe hardship and worsening conditions for Ghanaians.

Sammy Gyamfi asserted that this mismanagement has resulted in “unprecedented hardships” and a deteriorating standard of living for the average Ghanaian.

“Friends, our dear nation is at a crossroads and requires an urgent reset. Not only has the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia-led NPP government failed to keep almost all their flagship promises to Ghanaians, but they have totally run down Ghana’s economy, leading to unprecedented hardships and an ever-worsening standard of living,” he stated.

Mr. Gyamfi emphasized that at this crucial point, Ghana needs experienced and stable leadership, which is exemplified by the NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

“Ghana needs the experienced and steady pair of hands that H.E. John Dramani Mahama offers. His proven track record of sound economic management and the right transformational vision that Ghana needs at this critical time is what will steer us out of our current mess,” he added.
