Ghanaian delegates for the 2019 vis-à-vis -vis festival on Saturday interacted with Spanish authorities in a press conference.
The event, which was held today at the City Hall, seat of Government at Jaèn, Spain, was graced by representatives of Spanish Government led by the Spanish Foreign Minister, Raquel Morales Martinez and the Director of Casa Africa and vis-à-vis festival Director.
The Spanish delegates were excited about Ghana’s involvement in the 2019 edition of the festival.
“I will like to commend Mr Mark Okraku-Mantey and the entire team for leading such a great course and supporting the Casa Africa agenda,” the Spanish Foreign Minister said.
For his part, Mr Okraku Mantey, leader of the Ghanaian delegates and government representative, thanked the Spanish authorities for the opportunity to partake in the festival.
He also urged participants of the vis-à-vis festival to look forward to amazing performances by Ghana band.
“Ghana has a rich culture and music and I will urge the people of Jaen and Etnosur to get ready to be thrilled by performances by the FRA and Kyekyeku band tonight.
“I am optimistic this festival will go a long way to strengthen Ghana and Spain’s entertainment industry,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Kyekyeku band from Ghana will perform at Etnosur to music lovers from all over Europe who have thronged the city of Jaen and Etnosur to enjoy African music.
