Ghana Premier League returnees, Dreams FC, needed spot kicks to urge out Medeama SC to book a ticket to the final of the GHALCA G8 tournament in Cape Coast.
In what was a very cagey affair, both teams failed to score in regulation time, taking the game to penalty kicks which saw the Dawu-based side win 6-5.
The results mean Dream FC will meet Accra Hearts of Oak who also defeated their fierce rivals Asante Kotoko by a 4-2 penalty score line yesterday.
The two teams will lock horns on Sunday at the Robert Mensah Stadium at Cape Coast to wrap up the tournament.
