Executive Committee Member of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Eddie Doku says it is very ethical for the regional football associations to ask for the replacement of their pick-up vehicles after five years of active use.
Responding to a statement by Mr. Fianoo that the Regional Associations are not interested in addressing issues of football but interested in replacing their vehicles, Mr. Doku said the request is legitimate.
“We at the regional level use these vehicles and it is only proper to petition the Football Association to replace it for us after five years if the cost of maintenance is high”, he explained.
“Mr. Fianoo knows better and should not talk this way. This practice is normal in every corporate institution and we didn’t say we will not work without the vehicles so the Regional Associations have not erred”, he said.
The long serving administrator added that club administrators and financiers need each other to work so Mr. Fianoo must watch his utterances.
