GFA elections: Voting ends in a run-off

The much anticipated presidential elections of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has ended in a run-off.

Key contenders, Kurt Okraku, who is the Executive Chairman of Dreams FC and George Afriyie former vice president of the GFA, polled 44 and 40 votes respectively.

Nana Yaw Amponsah and former vice president of GFA, Fred Pappoe also polled 27 and six votes respectively.

Delegates at the Elective Congress taking place at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Ridge in Accra are preparing for the marathon ahead.

Meanwhile, Amanda Clinton and George Ankama Mensah, who did not get any vote, won’t be part of the candidates for the run-off.
