A gas tanker has overturned at Darkuman, near Cable and Wireless in the Greater Accra region.
The cause of the incident which occurred late Friday afternoon is yet to be established.
Firefighters from the Dansoman station swiftly responded to the incident and cooled the tanker to prevent any potential explosion.
The tanker’s content was subsequently discharged as bystanders were warded off the scene.
Road users have been advised to use alternative routes.
