The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has criticised the National Democratic Congress‘ (NDC) call for a forensic audit of the voter’s register ahead of the December 7 election.
The NPP has said that given the demanding nature of its national campaign, they would have ignored the NDC again over another needless demonstration.
However, as the governing party and a major stakeholder in all election-related matters and cannot be silent on issues on the 2024 provisional register.
Addressing a press briefing, the General Secretary, Justin Kodua noted that the NPP’s position on the subject matter has become necessary following an open invitation from the NDC for its opinion, hence the need to respond.
