Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, has pegged the success chalked by his Ministry at 95%.
Prof Frimpong-Boateng believes his Ministry has, over the past three years, excelled and delivered on its mandate.
He has attributed a recent award won by a Ghanaian journalist in the area of ‘Environmental Reporting’ to the success stories of his Ministry.
“A journalist with Ghana News Agency won best Environmental Reporting because he follows our works and reports on them,” he said confidently.

The Minister, speaking on Asempa FM‘s Ekosii Sen show, said Ghana is now producing uranium for Nigeria and Iran which is a process towards achieving the objective of nuclear power in Africa.
He added that the Ministry has also established a research commercialisation centre which is fully refurbished and working.
According to him, systems and software are being implemented to ensure the centre provides ready information on research from universities in Ghana.
