France won’t intimidate us – Yusif Basigi

-

Head coach of Black Princesses, Yusif Basigi, says his charges will not be frightened by host nation, France at the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The Princesses will play France in the opening fixture of Group A at the Guy Piriou Stadium on August 5.
But the experienced trainer says he is neither worried by the large number of supporters that will rally behind the host nation in the match nor their quality.
“You can’t underestimate any team. We have to prepare well to meet any team and play well.
We have to psych the girls up mentally because the home crowd won’t favour them [the Princesses] in that game”, Basigi said in an interview.
“Every team is beatable but it’s too early to point out which team is the strongest or the weakest in the group”, he added.
Ghana has been drawn alongside host country France, the Netherlands and New Zealand in Group A.
