A former Member of Parliament for Lower West Akim, Gifty Klenam, has made a significant move by switching from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Hon. Klenam had the distinguished honor of serving as a two-term Member of Parliament for the Lower West Akim constituency, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
She was first elected in the 2008 Ghanaian general elections and re-elected in the 2012 general elections.
During her tenure, she represented the Lower West Akim constituency and was a member of the Minority in Parliament.
Hon. Klenam has been a prominent figure in Ghanaian politics, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and chairing the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.
