-

Former Eastern Regional NDC Chairman, Tawia Boateng, has called on the Kwahuhene to advise Dr. Bryan Acheampong to moderate his comments about “not handing over power,”.

He warned that, failure to do so could result in consequences.

“If the Kwahuhene does not advise Dr. Bryan Acheampong to be careful with his words, we will be forced to deal with him ourselves” he said.

Speaking at the NDC Health Walk at Abirem in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region, Tawia Boateng appealed to the Kwahuhene, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, to caution Agriculture Minister, Dr. Bryan Acheampong over his remarks.

He stated that these comments are bringing disgrace to Kwawu.

“These comments are not only dangerous but are also bringing disgrace to the people of Kwawu” he said.

Meanwhile, the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Abirem constituency, Mohammed Nurudeen, expressed confidence in his chances, projecting a decisive victory with a 54% margin based on the current situation on the ground.
