Former AGI President calls for enhancement of ICT in curriculum

The former President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and Executive Chairman of Celltel Networks, Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson, has called on the youth to prioritize education in information, communication, and technology (ICT) to fully realize their potential in today’s information-driven society.

During a recent graduation, speech, and prize-giving day at Somanya Methodist JHS in the Eastern Region, Dr. Kludjeson supported the school with Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, computers, and accessories as part of his smart classroom projects initiative.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Kludjeson highlighted the rapid global advancements in technology that facilitate communication and promote development dialogue among young people worldwide.

He spoke on the need for integrating ICT into school curricula to provide students with access to the latest technology, which is essential for transforming the country’s economy.

The Headmistress of Somanya JHS, Believe Amoah, also appealed to the government and other benevolent organizations to expand infrastructure and provide more tables and chairs to enhance teaching and learning at the school.
