Fmr. Ambassador attacking Mahama is on tramadol – Allotey Jacobs alleges [Audio]

Central Regional Chairman of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has slammed former Ghana’s Ambassador to United Arab Emirate (UAE) Daniel Osei, for attacking former President John Dramani Mahama.

Mr Osei had described president Mahama as greedy and lacking the knowledge to lead the party after leading it into opposition because of what he describes as bad governance.

He has gone on to accuse the former president of being drunk and unable to personally inform the party of his intention to contest which is why he sent Ohene Agyekum to pick forms at the headquarters.

The damning comments have drawn sharp rebuttals from some gurus of the NDC who suggest the former ambassador may have a problem to speak the way he is speaking.

Mr Allotey Jacobs has also agreed with that position by telling Adom News that Daniel Osei was under the influence of tramadol which was why he is attacking Mahama unnecessarily.

“Mahama couldn’t go to the headquarters because Council of Leaders around him advised him not to go but rather send people to submit the letter on his behalf so for an NDC member to make these claims against a former president is an indication of his influence from tramadol abuse. I think he is on tramadol and needs to be checked,” he said.
