Fire Service saves four-bedroom house at Kalpohini

A timely intervention by firefighters from the Tamale Metro Fire Station prevented a raging fire from engulfing a four-bedroom house at Kalpohini in the Northern Region.

The swift response helped contain the flames within the garage, averting what could have been a major disaster.

According to reports, the fire started within the garage of the residence, raising concerns that it could spread to other parts of the house and nearby structures.

Upon receiving the emergency call, a team of firefighters led by STNOII Agbelley Moses rushed to the scene and worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control.

Although the immediate cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities have launched an investigation to determine its origin.

Meanwhile, fire officials took the opportunity to educate residents and bystanders on fire safety measures, emphasizing the importance of early detection and timely reporting of fire incidents.

Residents of Kalpohini, who had gathered to witness the firefighting operation, expressed their appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

Some community members commended the firefighters for their swift response, noting that without their efforts, the damage could have been far worse.
