A six-bedroom house at Odumasi Santreso in the Ashanti Region has been completely destroyed by fire.
The incident occurred around 4:30 am on Saturday, March 23, 2025.
The Unit Committee Chairman of the Odumasi Santreso electoral area, Kofi Tawiah, confirmed the incident to Adom News.
According to him, a distress call was placed to the Konongo-Odumasi Fire Station, but firefighters could not respond as their fire tender was faulty.
“We then reached out to the Ejisu Fire Station for assistance, but by the time they arrived, the entire house had been burnt with nothing to salvage,” he lamented.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
