Fire in PSquare camp as Peter replies Paul

-

Tensions are flaring between the Okoye twins, Peter and Paul, of the renowned Nigerian music duo PSquare.

The discord erupted after Paul Okoye’s recent interview, where he made claims about writing majority of their songs and alleged that Peter had even involved the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a dispute.

He revealed in the interview that, Peter is the weakest link in their camp and they have parted ways again.

Paul’s statements have triggered a response from Peter, who has penned a letter addressing the accusations.

Peter refuted Paul’s claims, remarking that he too has made significant contributions to their music.

Peter expressed frustration over the way Paul portrays him in public and constantly undermined his contributions.

He noted that Paul only referenced a single song that did not perform well as a means to discredit him.

In contrast, Peter countered this by listing several successful tracks that he had a hand in writing, questioning whether these were also considered failures.

“In your recent interviews, you claimed that you wrote and sang 99% of all P-SQUARE songs and discredited me by saying that our song with Tl “EjeaJo,” which I wrote, was a failure. You went as far as using the YouTube views to discredit me once again. You never acknowledged the other songs like “Get-Squared,” “Bizzy Body,” “Personally,” “Roll It,” “Temptation,” “Alingo,” “More than a Friend,” “Shekini,” “Say Your Love,” “Gimme Dat,” “Senorita,” “IGBEdu,” and a few others. Were these songs also considered failures as well?

Peter also expressed his displeasure in Paul for consistently disrespecting his family, friends and associates despite trying to maintain peace.

He also accused his brother of trying to turn fans against him by painting him as envious.

In view of this, Peter has taken the painful decision to stay away from his brother and other siblings.
