A devastating fire broke out in Kumasi Alabar early Friday morning, reducing a wooden structure to ashes.
According to eyewitnesses, the blaze consumed the entire building before personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service arrived at the scene.
Residents, who were visibly frustrated, accused the firefighters of arriving late, causing the fire to completely destroy the property.
In their anger, they verbally attacked the firefighters and hooted at them, expressing their dissatisfaction with the response time.
No casualties have been reported, but the incident has left the affected family homeless, with all their belongings lost to the flames.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
