Fire has swept through several shops at the Takoradi makeshift market in the Western Region.
The fire reportedly started at about 2:00am on Monday, April 4, 2022.
However, the cause is yet to be known.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service together with the Navy and Takoradi Port rushed to the scene with tenders and water tankers to bring the fire under control.
