Fifi Kwetey takes high-octane campaign to Volta Region

-

General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey, is taking campaign activities to another level as he storms the Volta Region tomorrow.

Described as a high-octane movement, the National Coordinator of the John Mahama 2024 Campaign will be touching base with chiefs and people of the Volta Region, starting from the southern coastal belt, moving to the middle belt, and ending at Hohoe for a grand regional rally.

In a statement issued by the NDC Volta Regional Secretary, Hon. James Gunu, the Campaign Coordinator will start his day Friday morning at the studios of Radio Jubilee in Keta, where he will be sharing the good news contained in the 2024 Reset Manifesto to provide jobs and improve the economy.

“This campaign tour is a critical part of the NDC’s nationwide strategy to secure a resounding victory in order to reset and build the Ghana we all want together,” Mr. Gunu stated.

He disclosed that the General Secretary will meet with the Standing Committee of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, a move aimed at fostering dialogue with traditional authorities and ensuring their support for the candidates of the NDC across the region.

Specifically, Mr. Fifi Kwetey will also be meeting the Paramount Chiefs of Klikor, Ave Xevi, Some, and Aflao Traditional Areas.

These meetings, according to Mr. Gunu, underscore the NDC’s commitment to working closely with all stakeholders of society to build the Ghana we all want together.

As a former MP of Ketu South and an indigene of the area, Hon. Fifi Kwetey will address the Ketu South Constituency rally in Aflao. This area, considered to be a fortress of the NDC, is expected to draw unprecedented crowds, with both the youth and elderly showing up.

The climax will be at the Hohoe RC Park on Saturday, where Mr. Fifi Kwetey, in conjunction with NDC executives, will hold a regional rally, where he will again speak directly to the electorate. The NDC in the Volta Region has vowed to flip the Hohoe seat, which suffered serious encroachment by the NPP’s Peter Amewu in the last election.

Party stalwarts believe Mr. Fifi Kwetey’s homestretch political movement is a powerful moment to reaffirm the NDC’s vision for inclusive development and growth across the region.
