General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey, has acknowledged that ousting the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in this year’s elections will be a challenging task.
He said achieving this goal will require significant effort.
Speaking at the NDC campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, Kwetey called for all hands on deck for a resounding victory in December.
“This election is a battle between Ghana and the NPP. Removing the NPP will not be easy because they know that once they are out, they will face prosecution for corruption. They are fully aware of the consequences and will do everything possible to steal the votes. Therefore, we need to be extra vigilant. The road ahead is tough, but we promise you, we shall deliver” he added.
