A man believed to be in his early 40s was found dead in a bush at Ntoaso Chinese in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The cause of death is not known.
Speaking to Adom News, the Unite Committee member of Ntoaso Duadekye Electoral Area, said the body of the deceased was retrieved by a joint team of police and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Monday evening.
According to him, they discovered the lifeless body of the man with his pants down under a tree.
Meanwhile, some residents in the area are speculating that the man may have been murdered by unknown assailants.
They revealed that, the body of the deceased had begun decomposing at the time it was found, indicating that he must have died three to four days before his discovery.
The situation has sparked fear among residents in the area, prompting calls for security.
Meanwhile, body of the yet-to-be-identified man has been deposited at the morgue.
