Information Minister, Fatimatu Abubakar has stated that the Akufo-Addo government has achieved a lot.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, she said Ghanaians are unlikely to give any political party a chance based on current performance.
Madam Abubakar said the Akufo-Addo government has undertaken significant infrastructural development including the ongoing Agenda 111 initiative.
“President Akufo-Addo has made remarkable progress with infrastructure development, and the Agenda 111 project is a testament to that. Although his term has not yet ended, he is expected to commission several hospitals and other infrastructural projects” she said.
She further explained that, many of these hospitals are part of legacy projects.
“The Agenda 111 is on course, and we will be commissioning at least 10 of these hospitals soon,” she added.
All these projects, she said, will also open opportunities for nurses and doctors.
Regarding the economy Mrs. Abubakar acknowledged the current challenges but pointed out that, compared to previous years, the situation has improved.
“While the economy is facing difficulties, it has shown positive progress compared to earlier years,” she added.
