Fatima Abubakar opens up on life in opposition [Listen]

-

Former Information Minister, Fatima Abubakar, has said she still has a lot to hold on to despite being in opposition.

According to her, she has always been an entrepreneur and never gave up on her business after becoming a government appointee.

She disclosed this on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, touting herself as a jack of all trades.

“I’m the only person who is a bona fide member of the two bars: the Ghana Bar Association and the Chop Bar Association.”

“I was into the food business, and it continued even while we were in power, so I’m back to it. I’m also a practising lawyer and can go back to my firm to work,” she stated.

Madam Abubakar further noted that she hasn’t been idle since the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lost the 2024 election.

She cited the transition process, in which she was actively involved as a government spokesperson.

“All of this is over now, so I’m just resting,” she happily said.
