The family of slain journalist, Ahmed Suale, has expressed anger at the seeming slow pace of justice delivery by the police after the murder of the investigative journalist a year ago.
Alhassan Yunus, a representative of the family, speaking to Joy News’ Komla Adom, said the family feels disappointed in the seeming lack of interest in the matter on the part of the police to apprehend perpetrators of the crime.
According to him, the family wants the same ‘degree of urgency’ applied in the apprehension of suspects of the Gomoa Buduburam police shooting applied in the arrest of the journalist’s murderers.

The family claims security agencies in the country and the government itself have lost interest in the pursuit of the perpetrators.
But, Deputy Superintendent of Police Juliana Obeng, delivering an address on behalf of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, dismissed claims that the service had abandoned the search for the killers of the journalist.
She said the CID was on top of investigations and was making progress in finding the killers.
The family has said it will on Sunday, hold activities to commemorate Mr Suale’s one year of passing.
