Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Wednesday, she explained that the initiative will ensure the factories will be sited in the districts, based on the produce available so that the raw materials can easily be accessed from the districts.

She further stated that even though the initiative is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), it will be solely managed by the private companies with diverse support from the government as a means to help promote the private industries in the country.

The government is working on tax exemptions on imported raw materials, tax holidays, and low-interest rates on loans that will be taken from banks by investors to support the initiative”.
