Organizers of the MTN FA cup have debunked claims by many that the venue for the final game of Sunday, Tamale is far from fans.
According to Kofi Poku who is the vice chairman of the committee, leadership of both clubs should use the opportunity to meet their fans in the region than complain.
“The people of Tamale were hurt to hear people say the venue is far and were calling for a change”.
“I think we should look at the positive side of it and help send the game across the country. This will also help fans of both clubs watch their clubs play”.
The Tamale sports stadium for the first time will host Arch rivals Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak in the final of the MTN FA cup on Sunday.
