Adomonline.com has obtained an exclusive video of when Oliver Barker-Vormawor, leader of the activist group Democracy Hub reportedly fled the venue of the demonstration to avoid arrest.
The protests were aimed at drawing attention to the economic challenges and governance issues facing the country.
But Mr. Barker-Vormawor, according to the Police is said to have incited public disorder and leading the blockade of key roads in the city.
The group’s actions led to heightened tensions, with Police arresting several protesters earlier for what authorities described as unlawful conduct.
Mr. Barker-Vormawor was declared wanted and subsequently arrested to assist with investigations.
